He is listed as an official victim of the [[Athens Polytechnic Uprising]] (killed on November 17 1973) and the circumstances of his death were included in the proceedings of the [[Greek_Junta_Trials|Polytechnic trial]].
The circumstances of his death are obscure and state documents regarding them full of incongruences and false data or are missing altogether, while the official cause of death is not supported by the findings after the exhuming of his remains in 2002.
He has a daughter, [[Olga Yeritsidou]] and a granddaughter, Tanya-Maria Geritsidou.
