Samar Ali Khan is an architect by profession and was elected as an MPA from the DHA / PS-113<ref>{{cite web|title=Samar Ali Khan profile on NA-250|url=http://www.na250.com/samar_ali_khan}}</ref> area after having won the elections in 2013.

Samar Ali Khan is a man with an unwavering commitment to his nation and its people. His aim is to provide citizens with their due rights and civil liberties, whilst also preparing the country to flourish as once envisioned by its founding father Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Samar Ali Khan has been politically active since 1985 and he is a founding member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) when it was first instituted in 1996. He has since been a key functioning member and supporter of the party and has also initiated numerous projects that are now part of PTI’s success story. His continued efforts are not driven by any incentive of political gain; rather he is determined to change Pakistan for the better through a party that believes in the same philosophy.

Samar Ali Khan has always been an advocate of social welfare projects, as well as creating stability and structure within the internal party dynamics. He has played a key role in fund-raising activities and has helped to align
