Bianco was born in [[Flushing, New York]]. He received a [[Bachelor of Arts|B.A.]] from [[Georgetown University]] in 1988, and a [[Juris Doctor|J.D.]] from [[Columbia University School of Law]] in 1991. He was a [[law clerk]] to [[Peter K. Leisure]] at the [[United States District Court for the Southern District of New York]] from 1992 to 1993. He was then in private practice of law in New York. He was an assistant [[U.S. Attorney]] from 1994 to 2003, and an adjunct professor at [[Fordham University Law School]] from 2002 to 2005. He was a deputy assistant attorney general of the Criminal Division of the [[United States Department of Justice]] from 2004 to 2005. He is currently an adjunct professor of law at [[Touro Law Center]]. Bianco is a federal judge on the [[United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York]]. Bianco was nominated by President [[George W. Bush]] on July 28, 2005, to a seat vacated by [[Denis R. Hurley]].
