In his first professional tournament, the minor-ranking [[Players Tour Championship 2010/2011 – Event 1|PTC Event 1]], Figueiredo won two matches to reach the last 32. He went further in the [[Players Tour Championship 2010/2011 – Event 3|Event 3]], losing a decider to [[Barry Hawkins]] in the last 16.
