I have a question regarding the Notability test. I'm a longtime editor from the Bosnian Wikipedia with a lot of work done and experience but also on a hiatus currently. I never did anything on the English wiki so I'm not quite familiar with all the rules especially since I'm on a hiatus for quite some time now. Why I'm asking? Well, I have been contacted by a private party to create an article for them on the English Wikipedia about their relative who is a tennis player. Now the player in question is not a top player as of now and they are wondering whether he can have a Wikipedia page about himself. Will it be deleted or not? I have noticed that players ranked 800 + do have pages that are still on here. The player in question is currently in the top 500. Can someone familiar with this explain the rules to me regarding the notability test and my situation? Is it safe to go ahead or does he need to improve? Thank you for your time. Fed Cup is for women. Hopman Cup and World Team Cup is for a small number of elite players. But any man who is among the top players of his country at any time of his career could be selected for a Davis Cup match and qualify for an article. Somebody still has to make the article.
