Small also voices [[Toby the Tram Engine|Toby]] (in which he based the character's voice on ''[[Dad's Army]]'' actor [[Clive Dunn]]) and [[Railway engines (Thomas & Friends)#Ferdinand|Ferdinand]] in the UK version while voicing [[Rheneas]], [[Non-rail vehicles (Thomas & Friends)#Flynn|Flynn]], the Troublesome Trucks and [[Non-rail vehicles (Thomas & Friends)#Owen|Owen]] in both the UK and US versions of the series. In the US version, Small voiced [[Railway engines (Thomas & Friends)#Stanley|Stanley]] and [[Railway engines (Thomas & Friends)#Charlie|Charlie]], who are voiced by Small's co-star [[Matt Wilkinson]] in the UK.
