==Printer behavior==
Brother printers that rely on multiple ink cartridges may halt operation when one of the cartridges is empty. The empty cartridge must be replaced before printing can continue, even if the absent ink color is not required for the print. Fortunately, there is a very easy way around this problem. Simply attach black [[electrical tape]] to the sensor in the center of the face of the cartridge and the printer will be fooled into thinking the cartridge is full. You will be able to print until you run out of ink.<ref>http://journal.drfaulken.com/trick-your-brother-inkjet-into-working-when-an-ink-cartridge-runs-dry/</ref>
