His three goals came against Bristol City, Blackpool and Derby.
He made his Premier League debut against West Ham United in August 2009 and played regularly during the 2009–10 season, scoring three times to help them achieve top flight survival. He is contracted to the club until summer 2015.

In the 2009/10 season, Jarvis made his Premier League debut against West Ham United on 15 August 2009 at Molineux. He went onto feature heavily for Wolves, featuring in 34 of the 38 fixtures in the league, missing only four league games. He went onto score three goals in his first Premier League season which came against Burnley, Hull City and West Ham. Jarvis also grabbed another goal against Tranmere on 3 January 2010 in the FA Cup, winning the game 1-0. Jarvis excellent form throughout the season saw him keep his side in the Premier League.

In the 2010/11 season Jarvis excellent form continued, which lead to Wolves offering him a new contract. He signed a new five-year contract extending his stay at Molineux until the summer of 2015. So far in the season Jarvis has picked up four league goals. These goals have come against West Ham, Blackpool and two against Aston Villa, both home and away. He also picked up another goal against Doncaster on 18 January 2011 in the FA Cup, winning the game 5-0 at Molineux. His impressive form for Wolves earned him a call up to the full England squad on 20 March 2011.
