The school is named after [[Coleman Carroll|Archbishop Coleman Francis Carroll]], the first Bishop of Miami. Archbishop Carroll is home of the ACCHS Drum Line, a recognized non-competing drum line. The drum line has performed for Ft. Lauderdale's Winterfest Boat Parade for three years, and has won Best Show Boat two years in a row, 2009 and 2010. It is led by UM's Frost School of Music alumi, [[Justin House]]. The administrations decisions are not equal amongst all students. AP scores are low. Recently, numbers in the school have dropped and several favorite teachers were fired or pushed to leave.
