After the release of [[Long Stretch of Lonesome]] in late 1997, Loveless collaberated with [[Vince Gill]] in a series of recording sessions, which were produced by Gill and [[Tony Brown]], Loveless' producer when she was with MCA in the 1980s and early 1990s. Two of the recordings were eventually released, "My Kind of Woman, My Kind of Man" along with "Wine, Women And Song". Wine Women and Song was eventually released on "Tribute To Tradition", a largely forgotten 1998 compliation album in which several country artists paid homage to the history and the tradition of country music. |
