Drafts of new Wikipedia articles may be hosted in the "Draft" namespace. It was created out of concern for the backlog at the Articles for Creation process for new articles.[1] If you are logged in, creating a draft before directly publishing the article is optional. Editors may also create draft pages in their userspace if they prefer to instead.
How drafts work

- Drafts are not be indexed by most search engines including Google,[2] meaning most readers will not find them. Anyone may search and view drafts on Wikipedia directly using Wikipedia's built-in search engine: Simply choose "Draft" or "Draft talk" from the list of options on search.
