Usage
The infobox may be used to summarize information about rankings of U.S. universities and colleges. It only reflects broad university rankings. Specific rankings about the university and its individual schools and colleges should be reflected in prose in the body of the article, not in this high-level template. See Category:University and college rankings templates for templates that may be used in the articles for the schools within a university.
This infobox may be added by pasting the template as shown below into an article. Insert only the ranking into the template field (i.e., "1" not "1st," "2" not "2nd," etc.).
