March 2017

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that in this edit to AEK B.C., you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 19:25, 2 March 2017 (UTC) [reply]

The article Makis Angelopoulos has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at AEK Athens F.C.. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Dr. K. 19:34, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to AEK Athens F.C.. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Dr. K. 23:49, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GiantSnowman 19:34, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

GiantSnowman, can you look over this user's contributions and see if this needs to be revisited? I came here to leave a message about creating unref blps (such as Nikos Rogavopoulos) a week after the block - doesn't seem to have elarnt. Marios, please see WP:BLPSOURCES and WP:INLINECITE. The article is now at Draft:Nikos Rogavopoulos - please move it back to the mainspace only when it's ready. Boleyn (talk) 14:36, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Boleyn: - he's still not adding sources to edits, but at least he has stopped creating unsourced BLPs (see Manos Chatzidakis (basketball)). GiantSnowman 07:16, 15 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
