File:Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran.png
The non-free use of :File:Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran.png was discussed at :Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 February 17#File:Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran.png and the discussion was closed by Graeme Bartlett as non-free use being only acceptable in :Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran. The file was then removed from :Iran national football team with this edit by the closing administrator and the corresponding non-free use rationale was also removed from the file's page by the same administrator with this edit. If you have any questions about this close, feel free to ask them at :User talk:Graeme Bartlett as explained in :WP:CLOSECHALLENGE, but you should not re-add the file to the article or a rationale for this use to the file's page without attempting to discus things first. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:50, 1 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013 AFC Champions League Final, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Al Ahli SC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

 • Also about Javad Nekounam, can you please accommodate to the majority? U-23 GOALS are not necessary, just a chart with the SENIOR GOALS are enough, and it should be placed under INT.CAREER not in STATISTICS. Also, please leave the club's full names in storyline, compress them in box (example CA Osasuna in storyline, Osasuna in box).

In HONOURS, please don't remove (again) the third-place he won at the 2002 West Asian Football Federation Championship, if there was a third-place match medals were given, so it's an honour. Finally, in PERSONAL, please leave that info out, it's not encyclopedical, and this is an encyclopedia not a tabloid newspaper OK?

Happy week --AL (talk) 23:54, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please keep this in mind. Only senior international goals should be included, per WP:FOOTY consensus. Also, content needs to be supported by reliable sources for verification, which was not the case with your additions to the personal life section. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hossein Hosseini (footballer born 1992), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Sir Sputnik (talk) 19:21, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding changing to 2012-2103 IPL

Last year Fajr Sepasi played all his home matches at Dastgheib Stadium only games against Persepolis and esteghlal were held at Hafeziye, Stadium please donot change this again.

and Toni Olevira was fired from Traktor Sazi management on may 2 2013, He left Iran to Portugal right away, Hossein Azarnia took over Traktor management and now how can you explain this? s90ra —Preceding undated comment added 11:12, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just click on the link and you will see that Fajr Sepasi played over 95% of its home games at Dastgheib Stadium Persian League, so if they announce Hafeziye as their home ground why they played over 95% of their games at Dastgheib Stadium? Imnot talking about 2013-14 season or 2011-12 season, just 2012-13 season, Its like Sepahan although home stadium is Naghshe Jahan but they play Foolad Shahr Stadium, so why dont we change Speahan's stadium to Naghshe Jahan!!! regarding Toni Olevira's contrasct do u have any source? article news anything! — Preceding unsigned comment added by S90ra (talkcontribs) 11:56, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Imam Reza Stadium.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Replaceable fair use File:Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

 1. Go to the file description page and add the text below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
 2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:46, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why u removed chairman and owner sections? You can see these sections in la liga, italian serie a,french league 1 and ...,why?? And why removed manegers homeland flags??? Shahin (talk) 15:35, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! First about chairman and owner sections, in Iran it's some different. For example, Naft Masjed Soleyman and Naft Tehran have same owners and this is not good for the page. In that leagues you say, owners are people not companies, governmental companies! And second, in all pages you said (La Liga, Serie A, Premier League and ...), flags have been removed. 2014 Asian Games

If you think this is my idea, then you should discuss. First, non-free image is not allowed to use in template. Second, you are copied text from live text commentary from one of the online website, which you are in copyright infringement. At all, adding another table to sort the number is useless while already one serving, you are doing the similar way from 2012 Summer Olympics but it is far from ideal. That is not important at all. --Aleenf1 14:54, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Esteghlal

Hossein ghaffari (talk) 5:43 PM Wednesday, Mehr 16, 1393 AP Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)

Esteghlal loanies

Hi
I don't understand why you insist on your loani idieas!
there should be trustworthy links to list players on loan transfers
for example, you named Ahmad Nematollahi in this list, but evidences shows that He released by Esteghlal in previous days and joined Paykan as free agent[1], while he signed 3 years contract with Paykan.
next one is Mohammad Ansari, young defender who joined Fajr Sepasi to spent his conscription period in Winter 2013, in this time conscription period was 18 month, he finished his conscription period after end of previous season and he should return to Esteghlal.
For 2014–15 season he counted as +23 player due his DOB (he born in 1991), if Esteghlal wants to loan him anywhere he would fill one +23 place in Esteghlal first team squad, and we know each team can register 18 +23 player in first team squad and Esteghlal fill every 18 place in season start.
So he released by Esteghlal and joined Tabrizi side as Free Agent.
I hope my explanation be helpful, I will revert your changes in Esteghlal F.C. page, If you have sources shows that they loaned please show them and refer this links in Esteghlal Main Page.
And at last, please write summary when you have edits like this, remember that you are a member of Wikipedia society and as we now every changes in Wikipedia needs trustworthy links.

do you have any idea on where was this guy born? All available sources say Shiraz, but several users keep changing it (without one word in summary of course!). There was one ref with an interview in Persian, but it is dead now.

Edits to election articles

Hello GTVM. I have undone your edit to Iranian legislative election, 1988, as I'm afraid I think it is verging on vandalism. Apologies if this is not the case, but the version you have restored has multiple problems regarding the results table, which was incorrectly formatted and sourced to the results from a different election (the IPU actually has no results for this election). Your edits also removed a large amount of referenced information on the results, electoral system and aftermath, whilst adding unreferenced information. Please be more careful in future. Thanks, Number 57 12:21, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

PS, I noticed your post on User talk:Pahlevun. We don't need infoboxes on every election article, particularly in cases where there are no clear parties or results (as is the case in several of these elections). Cheers, Number 57 12:43, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Zob Ahan F.C. logo.svg.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

File permission problem with File:Zob Ahan F.C. logo.svg.png

Thanks for uploading File:Zob Ahan F.C. logo.svg.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

 • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
 • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add OTRS pending to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as non-free fair use or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 17:20, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Oman FA logo.png

Thanks for uploading File:Oman FA logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

Hello from Portugal GTVM,

this situation is really getting out of control, and we need to address the following points (since you are an Iranian user, maybe you know things that other users do not know about Mr. Nekounam):

1 - the Iranian FA, ruler of Iranian football, says he has 151 caps, but FIFA is the ruler or football worldwide, and if they say he has 148 then that's the number that should appear in his infobox. There is already a note below saying "He has three additional caps awarded by the Iranian FA. Those matches are not considered full internationals by FIFA.", so everybody happy there;

2 - I added a ref saying that Nekounam planned to retire after the match against Sweden but then changed his mind (this one http://www.persianfootball.com/news/2015/03/31/nekounam-changes-mind-over-iran-retirement/, and I added another one now), if he has indeed retired from the international scene, could you add that instead of removing the other?

Thanks, happy editing --84.90.219.128 (talk) 17:45, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Found this from PERSIANFOOTBALL.COM (see here http://www.persianfootball.com/news/2015/04/01/javad-nekounam-bids-farewell-to-international-career/) seems he has retired. You could have sent me that info instead of leaving me talking to myself, but I repeat, don't worry you will not hear from me again. --84.90.219.128 (talk) 16:37, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There, I have reached a compromise between your edits and mine (I now have 151 caps in box and intro, like you and several other Iranian users want), now everybody happy. Please respect PERSIANFOOTBALL.com, if he said he had changed his mind about retiring then it should be reflected in the storyline, that and of course the fact that he changed his mind again, retiring for good.

Thank you --84.90.219.128 (talk) 13:49, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mosmof (talk) 16:43, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:New Foolad Stadium.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:New Foolad Stadium.jpg.

Thank you. Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 16:13, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your eagerness to add fake content to this encyclopedia

Hello GTVM92. Regarding your recent protests to me on reverting your contributions, I just want to raise a point to make it crystal clear that my problem is your original research and lack of verifiability. You are welcome to edit, as long as you don't add unsourced/wrong content, as you did here changing sourced material. In the article Iranian legislative election, 2016, you have added Insight and Islamic Awakening Front as an alliance, while it has not published any lists, or at least i cannot find any. Plus, you have added a results section citing this as your so-called "reference", while it does not mention any lists and only cites Principlist/Reformist camps. You are also giving made-up statistics of the votes received by each list (10,108 for Insight and Islamic Awakening Front)! Now have made yourself notorious. I will remove anything i find unreliable, and I warn you not to add fake information again. Pahlevun (talk) 12:17, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

--Arfarshchi (talk) 04:04, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

GTVM92 (talk) 16:26, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

GTVM92 (talk) 19:38, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Arfarshchi (talk) 18:51, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reliability

Hi. In this edit, you have noted that Mohammad Farhadi is a member of Moderation and Development Party, sourcing this, while I see no mention of this in the reference. I thank you for creating this article, but I should ask you for a reliable source, or this will be removed. Pahlevun (talk) 12:47, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Concerns regarding unsourced edits

Note that I've reverted your edits to Reza Attaran as you added personal information, including religion which is given special consideration under WP:BLPCAT and WP:EGRS, without including a reliable source. A review of this talk page shows that concerns regarding your sourcing (or lack thereof) have been raised many many times by various editors, yet it doesn't appear that you've taken much notice. To be clear, in order to avoid possible blocks and sanctions you must include reliable sources when adding material, most specifically to biographies, in all of your future edits. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:09, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You again added religion without regard to the policy for including a reliable source and evidence of self-identification and relevance as is required by policy.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:25, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of List of Al-Hilal FC presidents

The article List of Al-Hilal FC presidents has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of the significant coverage required for a standalone article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ways to improve Manouchehr Sotodeh

Hi, I'm ThePlatypusofDoom. GTVM92, thanks for creating Manouchehr Sotodeh!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Misspelled his name

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. ThePlatypusofDoom (talk) 00:06, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit approach

Hi GTVM92. First of all, you are continuing to add wrong content over and over again! I have corrected some of your edits containing wrong material here, here and here. Look out of what you are adding.

There is no position named as "Leader" (رهبر) in any Iranian party. (except for unofficial spiritual positions such as Mohsen Rezaei of Resistance Front of Islamic Iran, etc. which must be well-sourced) Iranian parties tend to have "Secretary-General" (دبیر کل) position. So, stop adding such material unless you have a source. When you had a reliable source about Habibollah Asgaroladi and Mohammad Nabi Habibi being "leader" or "deputy leader" of Islamic Coalition Party, and its dates, then we can discuss adding it to the article. And I would say that the result of the discussion would be not to add it, because party positions are only important when the country has Westminster system, where the party leaders hold the Leader of the Opposition/Prime Minister offices depending on the majority situation of the parliament. This doeas not include Iran, which its political sphere is not party-based. Islamic Coalition Party is also an old and famous party, but not a major one today. Pahlevun (talk) 15:10, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning regarding sources

I'm concerned that you continue to add unsourced personal information to biography articles without regard for Wikipedia's policies regarding the inclusion of such material. Many editors, including me, have warned you that you must include your sources, to no avail. Please be aware that if you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced biographical material to articles you risk being blocked from editing. You're an editor with 10,000+ edits over several years, and have made many helpful edits, but you need to start following our core policies.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:17, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Separately, you keep "updating" the system statistics for the Tehran Metro without providing sourcing for the new figures. As both you and some IP editors have been adding these new "updated figures" that would seem to apply that this is a well-known development, which means that sourcing for it even if it's in Farsi should be readily available. So please include such sourcing when updating the figures. --IJBall (contribstalk) 16:37, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File:Saipa F.C. logo.png

Hi GTVM92. File:Saipa F.C. logo.png which you uploaded seems no different from the one which was discussed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 April 11#File:SAIPA Corporation logo.svg. Uploading the same file under a different name does not nullify the consensus reached in the aforementioned FFD discussion that the file's non-free use in Saipa F.C. does not not satisfy WP: NFCC. I've asked Explicit, the administrator who closed that FFD discussion, about this for clarification at User talk:Explicit#File:Saipa F.C. logo.png. You're welcome to comment there as well to clarify how you feel these two files are different. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:30, 25 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The non-free use of File:Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran.png was discussed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 February 17#File:Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran.png and the discussion was closed by Graeme Bartlett as non-free use being only acceptable in Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran.
