  • curprev 02:0602:06, 15 January 2024 LDWilliams talk contribs 13,688 bytes −42 I corrected the definition of the hydrophobic effect, which is the exclusion of non-polar substances by water, and is not, as stated previously, caused by the exclusion of water by non-polar substances. I also cleaned up the description of protein folding. Glycine and alanine are not hydrophobic (see Kyte-Doolittle) so I removed those amino acids from the list of hydrophobic amino acids. undo Tag: Visual edit
