- Hello! I have not previously had reason to put in a mass-message request as my interest comes from WP:Women in Red where we have thus far always been able to find someone with the flag, but are becoming a bit short-handed in this regard. I am offering to help out, as a user in good standing with a number of other perms I have managed to use without breaking anything. I would expect only to use mass messenger for WiR’s monthly editathon invitations to its existing list. Innisfree987 (talk) 00:51, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Innisfree987: normally we'd expect someone to have used WT:MMS without issue prior to granting this, but you've been around for a while. As far as a quick technical "screening" test goes - when you are ready to send your next message, what would you literally put in these fields:
Page or category containing list of pages to leave a message on: Subject of the message (also used as the edit summary): Page to be sent as a message: Body of the message:
- ? — xaosflux Talk 16:02, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks so much for working with me Xaosflux. I ended up double-checking with Rosiestep who sent WiR’s most recent message, as reading the instructions and consulting old MMS requests I wasn’t quite sure how to fill out the fourth category. But the October message went out successfully with just three filled out, like this:
- Page or category containing list of pages to leave a message on:
- Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/Outreach/A-F
- Subject of the message (also used as the edit summary):
- October 2021 at Women in Red
- Page to be sent as a message:
- (Left blank)
- Body of the message:

- The lengthy code is source code copied from the invite page, Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/Outreach/2021#October 2021, plus a signature (instructions on that at the bottom of that page.) And the invitations sent correctly that way. So I hope I’ve got it down! Innisfree987 (talk) 16:52, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
- Rosiestep has also kindly offered to run a small test with me once I have the flag to be sure I’ve got it down, before I use WiR’s Big List. Innisfree987 (talk) 21:30, 2 October 2021 (UTC)

- I am currently running WikiProject Artificial intelligence and need too mass message people on relative WikiProjects to ask if they want to join. Also, I need to send the project newspaper. Starship SN20 (talk) 18:55, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
