Plot

During the COVID-19 pandemic, billionaire Miles Bron of technology company Alpha Industries hosts a murder mystery party at his mansion, the Glass Onion, on his private island in Greece. He invites his five closest friends: Alpha head scientist Lionel Toussaint, Connecticut governor Claire Debella, fashion designer Birdie Jay, and men's rights streamer Duke Cody, as well as estranged former business partner Cassandra "Andi" Brand. Birdie's assistant Peg and Duke's girlfriend Whiskey also arrive on the island. Detective Benoit Blanc is hired by Andi's identical twin sister, Helen, to investigate her sister's supposed suicide one week prior. Helen informs Blanc that Miles ousted Andi from her role as CEO of Alpha after Andi rejected his request to release Klear, a dangerous hydrogen-based alternative fuel, and lost a lawsuit against him due to her unable to prove that she conceived of the company and not Miles. Helen suspects that one of Miles's friends killed Andi after Andi found a cocktail napkin on which she wrote Alpha's founding ideas, evidence that would discredit Miles. Blanc instructs Helen to take Andi's place for the weekend at the Glass Onion to help him investigate, arriving on the island with the rest of the group. Miles informs Blanc that he did not send him an invitation but allows him to stay, assuming that his presence was a joke arranged by one of the other guests.

On the island, Helen searches for clues that would possibly lead to Andi's killer, but determines that Lionel, Claire, Birdie, and Duke are all suspects: Lionel and Claire had staked their professional reputations to support Klear, only to discover its dangerous qualities afterward; Birdie was forced by Miles to take responsibility for hiring a sweatshop in Bangladesh to manufacture her clothing line; and Duke was attempting to coerce Miles into giving him a position at Alpha News by using Whiskey to seduce him. To Miles' frustration, Blanc immediately solves his planned "murder mystery". As the group parties and considers returning home, Duke suddenly collapses dead after accidentally drinking from Miles's glass. The group begins to panic, suspecting the missing "Andi" to be the killer and discovering that Duke's pistol is missing. In the ensuing chaos, the group splits up. Blanc finds Helen, who has been searching for Andi's cocktail napkin which she believes the killer stole, and instructs her to search Miles's office. An unknown assailant shoots Helen in the chest, but she survives unbeknownst to anyone but Blanc due to Andi's journal in her jacket pocket having blocked the bullet.

Gathering the rest of the group in Miles's art room, Blanc concludes that Miles committed both murders. After Miles learned of the napkin's existence from Lionel, he had killed Andi to prevent her from revealing it to the public. Immediately after the murder, he was seen leaving the house by Duke, who deduced Miles's involvement with Andi's death during the party and attempted to blackmail Miles. This had prompted Miles to poison Duke with pineapple juice, which Duke was allergic to, before using Duke's pistol to shoot Helen. Helen locates the napkin in Miles's office and reveals her true identity to the group, but Miles burns the napkin. With no evidence against Miles and the group unwilling to side with her, Helen destroys Miles's glass sculptures before triggering the Klear-powered mansion to explode. This destroys the Glass Onion and the Mona Lisa, which Miles had had on loan from the Louvre. With Miles's reputation ruined due to the painting's destruction and Klear being proven as dangerous, the group decides they will testify against him. Helen and Blanc sit on the beach as they watch police arrive.

RfC: Reversal of Vector 2022 deployment

Should Vector legacy be restored as the default skin on the desktop English Wikipedia site, with the possibility of deploying Vector 2022 in the future if there is broad consensus from the community to do so?

Background

On January 18, 2023 at 15:17 UTC, the Wikimedia Foundation Web team deployed Vector 2022 as the new default skin for all users on the desktop English Wikipedia site, after implementing the changes specified by the editors who closed this RfC. Since then, there has been significant backlash from both users who expressed numerous concerns with the new UI, with complaints flooding Wikipedia talk:Vector 2022 and mw:Talk:Reading/Web/Desktop Improvements. Many editors were also unaware of this change until the launch, and/or did not participate in the previous RfC, raising questions as to whether there was consensus to deploy Vector 2022 as the Web team suggests.

Please note that registered users can change their skin by going to the Appearance tab in Special:Preferences. Anonymous users do not have the ability to change their skin.
