If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."
If you are here because you want an admin to approve of your new article or your proposed page move, you are in the wrong place.

Technical requests
Uncontroversial technical requests
- Draft:Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars is invalid. Must create Draft:Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars before requesting that it be moved to Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars.– move into main space over redirect --Another Believer (Talk) 17:48, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- Robert A. Rucho (currently a redirect to Bob Rucho) → Bob Rucho (move · discuss) – Apparent W:PCOMMONNAME, but a redirect is in the way. HandsomeFella (talk) 11:12, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- Draft:Perfect Night (Le Sserafim song) is invalid. Must create Draft:Perfect Night (Le Sserafim song) before requesting that it be moved to Perfect Night (Le Sserafim song).– move draft article to mainspace George13lol2 (talk) 02:27, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- Pancha Tattva (Vaishnavism) → Pancha Tattva (Gaudiya Vaishnavism) (currently a redirect back to Pancha Tattva (Vaishnavism)) (move · discuss) – The concept is not adhered to or believed by most mainstream Vaishnava traditions, only the Gaudiya tradition. The current title appears ambiguous. Chronikhiles (talk) 13:07, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Chronikhiles: You can move this page yourself, since you're autoconfirmed. Just click the move link next to your request. — MaterialWorks 19:49, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- Clitoris → Human clitoris (currently a redirect back to Clitoris) (move · discuss) – Animal clitoris is a new page and stuff about other animal’s clitorises should be exclusively there Autisticeditor 20 (talk) 23:17, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
Requests to revert undiscussed moves
- Carmen bin Laden → Carmen bin Ladin (currently a redirect back to Carmen bin Laden) (move · discuss) – The article was titled "Carmen bin Ladin" for five years from its creation in 2006 to 2011, when it was disruptively moved to "Carmen Binladin" without any discussion and later to "Carmen bin Laden". The spelling "bin Ladin" is consistent with her former husband Yeslam bin Ladin. The author herself uses the spelling "bin Ladin" on her books. Toptanazikov (talk) 10:45, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
Contested technical requests
- Canada Permanent Trust Building → Canada Permanent Building (currently a redirect back to Canada Permanent Trust Building) (move · discuss) – Incorrect name, as seen on building entrance Tsc9i8 (talk) 18:34, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- You'll need to cite reliable sources. Architectural Conservancy Ontario and the Toronto Star use "Canada Permanent Trust Building". 162 etc. (talk) 19:33, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- Popular, Inc. (currently a redirect to Banco Popular de Puerto Rico) → Banco Popular de Puerto Rico (move · discuss) – This new name has been agreed upon by the involved parties, per the article's talk page under section named, Recent name change from "Popular, Inc." to "Popular Bank of Puerto Rico". Mercy11 (talk) 22:53, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- Amakuru has effectively contested this by moving the article back to Popular, Inc. If you still think this should be moved, Mercy11, you'll need to start a full discussion by clicking the "discuss" link above. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 04:23, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- Laguna Honda Reservoir → Laguna Honda (move · discuss) – Name is "Laguna Honda" according to USGS current "Laguna Honda" page redirects to disambiguation. Publicerination (talk) 12:07, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- Comment - the move of the disambiguation page has been reverted by NmWTfs85lXusaybq. @Publicerination: this is a potentially controversial move, so please use the "discuss" button above to initiate a move discussion, including Laguna Honda in the mix as well, if you wish to go ahead. Cheers — Amakuru (talk) 14:00, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- The provided rationale fails to address the ambiguity question. The USGS also gives "Laguna Honda Reservoir" as an alternative name, and it is not the only source cited in the article. The other source calls it "Laguna Honda Reservoir". — BarrelProof (talk) 20:08, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
- A cursory google search would suggest the hospital is the primary topic, not the reservoir. The hospital does not have a separate article, but is a section within its foundation's article -- 65.92.247.90 (talk) 04:40, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- Trace Awards & Festival → Trace Awards (move · discuss) – Discussion raised here. Sources refer to the ceremony as only "Trace Awards", and I'm also having doubts about the ceremony being dissected into three "sub-ceremonies" namely Pre-show, Awards, and Festival which supposedly took 3 days according to the article creator dxneo (talk) 14:49, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- Discussion raised at Talk:Trace Awards & Festival#Name concern dxneo (talk) 14:51, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- Resentment (Victoria Beckham song) (currently a redirect to Resentment (Beyoncé song)) → Resentment (Beyoncé song) (move · discuss) – Majority of this page is about Beyoncé's version of the song; the song was previously not notable when it was simply a Victoria Beckham song. Theknine2 (talk) 21:07, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Theknine2 Per WP:DABSONG, you should always use the first artist to record the song, not a subsequent cover, even if it's more notable. This was already discussed on the article's talk page. --Ahecht (TALK
PAGE) 21:36, 2 November 2023 (UTC)- The original Victoria Beckham version of the song was only included as a bonus feature on an unrelated documentary DVD starring Victoria, since it was a shelved demo, and the song was never given an official release via a single or an album. Also, the discussion on the talk page was relating to moving the page to "Resentment (song)", and was objected due to the Kesha song of the same name. Theknine2 (talk) 07:43, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

- I am trying to move Frozen (2013 film) to Frozen similar to Die Hard and The Dark Knight because the Diseny film is the most notable. But I first have to move the latter to Frozen (disambiguation) but that page already exists and is redirecting back to Frozen. As a result, I need an admin to delete Frozen (disambiguation) so I can begin the process. Wingwatchers (talk)
- Wingwatchers, please open a requested move as this may be controversial. Thanks! Frostly (talk) 23:16, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- Dont know how to open one the process is overcomplicated but I don't think it will be controversial because it follow a similar naming model to FA Die Hard and The Dark Night. Barely anyone knows of all of these random 1990s 2000s films, and we all know Disney's Frozen because of its cultural impact is so significant, so we should not treat it as one of those indie films and move it to the name it deserves because no one is going to search these indie games anyone. It is not controversial because simply one one cares. Wingwatchers (talk) 23:33, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- Wingwatchers, please see WP:TITLECHANGES, thanks! — Frostly (talk) 23:42, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Frostly After reading that page I still cannot grasp how to initiate a discussion. Wingwatchers (talk) 00:27, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- Just go to WP:RSPM and copy the template from the instructions. It's no harder than figuring out how to talk about it here. But it seems possible there are more significant other topics for "Frozen" than for "The Dark Knight" and "Die Hard". — BarrelProof (talk) 05:05, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

- Emji Spero is invalid. Must create Emji Spero before requesting that it be moved to Emji Saint Spero.– artist's name has changed Saint404 (talk) 01:50, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Saint404: Unnecessary move, page already follows the format specified at WP:NCBIO, which is <First name> <Last name>. — MaterialWorks 18:58, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
