This reads a bit like an advertisement, especially the membership section, which is in drastic need of editing for content and style. It is also rather self-referential, and needs to be edited so that it is explained within a wider context. Laura musikanski (talk) 19:40, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
This appears to be an odd group. Could we find various other sources?
The World Government Summit appears to be an odd group as can be seen via these articles:
- The 'Arch of Baal' Was on Display for the Third Time In Honor of the 'World Government Summit', Charisma News
It seems very odd to have an "arch of Baal" prominently featured at a summit.
This is what Wikipedia says about Baal: "The Hebrew Bible, compiled and curated over a span of centuries, includes generic use of the term in reference to various Levantine deities, and finally pointed application towards Hadad, who was decried as a false god. That use was taken over into Christianity and Islam, sometimes under the opprobrious form Beelzebub in demonology."
Let's try to expand the article using reliable sources. It appears the people behind this summit are very odd and if possible this could be brought out in the article using decent sources.Knox490 (talk) 14:37, 7 August 2019 (UTC)

World Government Summit → World Governments Summit – Match the official Website Janaalrifaey (talk) 09:06, 23 July 2024 (UTC)— Relisting. Quadrantal (talk) 04:19, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME, many sources in the article use the singular form of the word "Government" compared to the plural form of the official name. Jerium (talk) 13:40, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. The webpage name of the summit's official homepage https://worldgovernmentsummit.org is "Featured Sessions | World Government Summit". Meanwhile, the logo on the official homepage is "World Governments Summit" instead. It seems that the Summit even does not have a unified name for itself. It may be better for us to just wait on this issue. Cfls (talk) 08:23, 1 August 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. The article title is based on widespread usage. Waqar💬 18:29, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
