Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests

If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."

• To list a technical request: the Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:

  This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.
• If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
• If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.

• Willem Mulder (cricketer) (currently a redirect to Wiaan Mulder) → Willem Mulder (currently a redirect instead to Wiaan Mulder) (move · discuss) – The non-disambig title redirects to another page. • Blue and Lonesome (album) (currently a redirect to Blue & Lonesome) → Blue & Lonesome (The Rolling Stones album) (currently a redirect instead to Blue & Lonesome (Rolling Stones album)) (move · discuss) – Per band website and others, ampersand is used in place of "and". Also there is another album with title Blue and Lonesome, so band title to be included in article. This is uncontroversial because issue was raised in album talk page for 10 days, and 3 votes for the move and no votes against. See album talk page for band website and other news articles to justify requested album title. The reason this is a complicated move is that on the same day, two articles were created for the same album, and three days later the wrong one (the one being requested as the new appropriate title) was zeroed out and the information was merged to the current article.   @Andy M. Wang: This is due to the fact that the target page used to be a table of the European Championship winners, but this was only transcluded on the European Championship article itself, which is of no point, so I copied the table code to the article.
