New page reviewer

To help with the backlog of New Page Reviewing. The current backlog is significant. Naraht (talk) 16:39, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As additional information I have over 30,000 edits and have worked on AFC.Naraht (talk) 21:27, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Naraht: Thanks for offering to help. You seem to have never used page curation and haven't done manual patrolling since 2014. Please let us know when you have read the instructions. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:45, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I am active in AFC, and I would like to reduce the 1.5k backlog in new pages feed. I have already curated around 30-40 new articles without any of them being contested. SilverplateDelta (talk) 17:41, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I was invited to help with new page review backlog, am already AfC reviewer and will gladly help with NPR. Ntb613 (talk) 18:15, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I have been editing Wikipedia since 2012. I had done NPP prior to the changes, and since I have also been active with WP:AfC, I received a message saying that there is a backlog and help was needed. Mr. Guye (talk) 00:16, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm rather concerned by your heavy tag-bombing of some articles including Susan Yannaccone and Ralph W. Sallee without even notifying the authors. Please let me know when you have read the updated tutorial.--Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:03, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Kudpung: Which updated tutorial? --Mr. Guye (talk) 22:01, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have done a bit of NPR in the past, and I have also done AfC and vandalism reversion as well. I got the message on my talkpage and hope to continue helping to improve Wikipedia. -Liancetalk/contribs 18:51, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I already have reviewer rights; I feel I have what it needs to do more reviewing of new pages. Nordic Nightfury 13:12, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Edit count tools say I performed 164 patrol actions before the new user right was created. I also take part at AfD regularly. I wish to keep patrolling. If you go through my patrol logs, you will see that the first patrols were quite poor, though I improved gradually (I WP:A7'd far too recklessly, for example - the new user right is aimed at people similar to old me, but hey, I am new me and past misdeeds are a sunk cost now). I did skim through the manual (having read it already in the first place); the new "move to draft" option is the only change I noticed (beyond the "new userright" things), so I will probably not use this immediately. (I have no special rights beyond the ones that come with account age.) TigraanClick here to contact me 19:04, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

 Request withdrawn - I didn't even check I had the 500 mainspace edits. Oh well. Sorry for wasting your time, guys... TigraanClick here to contact me 08:54, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have over 1,000 edits, and I tag unreviewed pages for improvement (when needed) and improve new pages with Special:NewPagesFeed. I want to have an additional right to review pages. I am already an autopatrolled user. Spike789 🇺🇸 22:41, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm requesting new page reviewer rights in order to help Wikipedia maintain a high level of quality amongst new pages. UnkleFester (talk) 04:10, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done Last 50 contributions take us back to 2012. Plenty has changed even since last year, so there's just not enough recent contributions to judge your knowledge of content policies. ~ Rob13Talk 16:33, 24 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Requesting new page reviewer rights so that I may assist with the backlog of newly created pages. I feel like approving newly created pages is a quick and effective way to contribute to the English Wikipedia. In the past I contributed by rolling back vandalism and more recently I contribute with AWB. I have approved new pages in the past, but only in a limited fashion. I look forward to using the revised tools. Dillard421♂♂ (talk to me) 08:25, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to expand into areas where my efforts will prove helpful with backlogs while maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. Atsme📞📧 21:57, 23 November 2016 (UTC) Atsme📞📧 21:57, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I need to be able to see/preview the interface to help with bug diagnostics. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 23:47, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Been doing NPP for a while now, marking appropriate pages with CSD, and expanding and formatting new articles to the best of my ability. An example is on the page Yezo sika deer where I also moved the page per WP:COMMONNAME. I also have lots of vandal fighting experience, so I could help with that on NPP. I am requesting permission for page reviewer permissions because I am a long-time editor with plenty of page reviewing experience and would like to continue new page patrolling. –Dream out loud (talk) 18:11, 24 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
