- I've always been a vandal-hunter, but since I got promoted to Pending Reviewer... Oh boy, there is definitely a need for this tool. I've never been in an edit war, and I would use this tool responsibly, and only for obvious vandalism. BytEfLUSh Talk 06:33, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

- I am part of the Counter-Vandalism Unit and have encountered some vandals vandalising a page in multiple edits at List of tribes in Uganda and I would need this feature in future to prevent more vandalism. This right would help me undo vandalism in multiple edits. Anchorvale (talk) 09:47, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
- Not done. I went through your contributions, but did not find any significant experience of reverting vandalism beyond List of tribes in Uganda. Please note that the rollback tool's functionality is the same as the "rollback" button that Twinkle gives you, which you have already installed—it only reverts the consecutive edits from a single user account or IP address. In the case of List of tribes in Uganda, the vandalism was inserted by multiple IP addresses, so you would have needed to find the last clean revision in the article's history and revert the article to that. Twinkle has the option of doing this semi-automatically by finding the diff of the last clean revision and clicking the brown "[restore this version]" button that pops up. Additionally, after reverting vandalism, it is typically good practice to leave a warning on the user talk page of the vandal. Twinkle has the ability to help you leave a templated series of warnings. If you're interested in learning more about reverting vandalism, I recommend looking into the Counter-Vandalism Unit Academy. - Used to fight vandalism, I have come across multiple situations where I could have used the tool, but needed to ask an admin to do it. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 22:53, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

- I would like to have the rollback capability to assist in the removal of vandalism. I generally use other tools, but some of the page patrol tools require this right. Metiscus (talk) 16:35, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
- Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU, and if you decide you'd like to get involved, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. While you’ve had an account for a very long time, you’ve only been an active editor for about a week. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:09, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

- Hi. This is my first time requesting rollback here, so bear with me. I have reverted vandalism occasionally in the past, though this was either with Twinkle, the undo feature, or popups. Obviously, rollback would make this task easier, as well as open up access to other anti-vandalism tools (Huggle, STiki). I know and understand what constitutes as vandalism and where to use the undo button rather than rollback; I'm a rollbacker at simple.wiki. Hiàn (talk) 02:53, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
