Second attempt Wikipedia has an abundance of poor articles, and I believe in quality over quantity. New page reviewing is essential to Wikipedia's basic function and I would like to be a part of it. I was referring to my offer, in which you focus on gaining the relevant deletion experience and then coming to me in a few weeks. @Puzzledvegetable:, Swarm is correct. The published criteria are only a starting point and were established mainly to avoid the requests page being flooded by absolutely inappropriate requests. The actual threshold as practiced by administrators is generally much higher as applicants are expected to come already with a knowledge of Notability and Deletion policies almost approaching that of admin level, and have thoroughly read and digested the tutorials - this is unlikely at only 450 mainspace edits. Nowadays, we generally also accord the right for new users on a temporary probationary period of a few months. We recommend first gaining experience as a Pending changes reviewer, and then vandalism work as a Rollbacker. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 04:24, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
In addition to reverting vandalism, I am also interested into reviewing new pages. Today, I have tagged many pages for speedy deletion with various criteria. This user right would make reviewing pages easier for me so that I can determine if a page in any namespace is acceptable on Wikipedia.
