In the works

[edit]

Awaiting physical arrival of three new sources. Would like to develop section on Cotogni's pedagogical concepts, like "intenzione" or "intenzionalità." --Trrill (talk) 20:27, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Have yet to create a section on Honors, awards, and dedications. Will include a list of songs written to or for Cotogni, the theater in Massa named after him, etc. The pedagogy section may instead go into a "Legacy" section, which will also include the section on his relationship with Verdi and how Cotogni's style became, in a way, so definitive that many elements of it are standard for baritones singing 19th century literature today. --Trrill (talk) 17:11, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Cotogni Headphones

[edit]

They're obviously named after this guy, if you don't want it in the main article we can discuss it here. Also, they aren't 20th tier headphones, they're actually quite good for the price, but whatever. And no, I'm not a freaking SEO. I just am someone wanting to share some information but am getting gatekept by someone who spent too much money on graduate school. 141.156.172.248 (talk) 14:05, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just two things;
  • Content on this article is determined by the significance to the subject. Does the name of this company have any significance to add to the reader's understanding of Antonio Cotogni?
  • Your addition is unsourced. There is nothing verifiable to say one is named after the other. Without a source this is not suitable for inclusion.

This explanation makes a lot more sense to me than what the other user was saying. In any event, I still disagree, but I won't argue over rules or personal opinions. 141.156.172.248 (talk) 14:18, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
