Origins of the name
[edit]Does anyone know why it's called the Bond number? 171.64.133.56 22:31, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Other Bond numbers
[edit]There is, in the study of electrohydrodynamics, another type of Bond number, sometimes referred to as an electric Bond number. Interestingly, this is not a measure of the relative importance of a body force to capillary force, but rather of the relative importance of the Maxwell stress (a surface stress) to the capillary pressure.
