- Yeah, go ahead! I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I only hope that, because of the detail I've gone into, the summary won't get deleted when it becomes too long. I tried to make it a separate article, but they wouldn't allow it... Ackatsis 00:51, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
Hey I think that there need to be a section on how Pat Barker uses the setting to help convey her point. For example, the weather is always bad for Tom. When Lauren comes back she asks "Why is it always raining here? It isn't back there." (or words to that effect) in the painting, there is a sunnset with a calm river again showing how Tom's life was at that point at time. 218.215.237.68 (talk) 11:45, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
