Since I just moved this page from the title "Claresholm highway massacre" to "Claresholm highway shooting", I thought I'd briefly explain why.
Simply put, calling this event a "massacre" doesn't seem to be used anywhere— using Google, the only results I find are Wikipedia, sites that mirror or fork Wikipedia, or various blogs and social media (that are almost certainly just repeating what they found on Wikipedia). Instead, reliable news sources refer to it as a "shooting", "murder-suicide" or simply "murders". It seems to me that calling this a "massacre" may well have been coined here on Wikipedia, which doesn't just run afoul of WP:OR, but is hardly an accurate name to begin with ("massacre" is very loaded, and how often do you hear it applied to a murder-suicide?). Thus I have moved it to "Claresholm highway shooting", which is both the WP:COMMONNAME but also has the benefit of being a much less loaded and much more accurate way of describing the incident in question. (Actually, most media outlets refer to it as the "Claresholm shooting/murder-suicide/murders" without specifying "highway", but I thought including that helped identify and disambiguate this event from any other shootings that have or could happen in Claresholm). — Kawnhr (talk) 22:14, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
