Adelaide of Bellay?

[edit]

Who was Adelaide of Bellay? Conrad had two spouse with a name similar to Adelaide: Adelane, his first wife, and Aldiud, his mistress and later third wife.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 00:34, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Conrad III?

[edit]

Why is he sometimes numbered Conrad III? There was no prior Conrad who ruled any part of his kingdom. The only earlier Conrad is Conrad I of Germany, whose realm would be united with Burgundy in the person of Emperor Conrad II. Where does "Conrad III" come from?
