Program cost

[edit]

Under Background, the $499 million award to Lockheed (and BWXT) in 2023 is for Phases 2 and 3. It does not include the funding amounts for Phase 1. So, the $499 million in the infobox for the program cost will need to be updated to include the Phase 1 amounts. Thanks. Path2space (talk) 01:32, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Understood, I added "phase 2" to Infobox text to clarify for now. -Fnlayson (talk) 02:29, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

European efforts

[edit]

There have been some European efforts towards the development of nuclear propulsion systems for space exploration, e.g., ESA Study Outlines 2035 Launch of Nuclear Propulsion Demonstrator. I leave it to other editors to decide if it is helpful to mention it in the background. Thank you. Path2space (talk) 19:42, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
