Jimmy McLaughlin (soccer) → Jimmy McLaughlin – There is only one "James/Jim McLaughlin" who commonly goes by "Jimmy" -- if someone searches for "Jimmy McLaughlin", it is very unlikely that they are searching for anyone other than the American soccer player. I can't find a single instance where any of the other James McLaughlins have ever been called Jimmy; check out the results of this Google search. I think moving the page to not include "(soccer)" should simplify matters quite a bit. IagoQnsi (talk) 17:19, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- Support per nom subject to there actually being no other comparably notable person commonly referred to as Jimmy McLaughlin in reliable sources. --В²C ☎ 21:09, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
