In 1279, Lev allied himself with king Wenceslaus II of Bohemia and invaded Poland
in this year Czech king will be 8 year old and will be arested on czech castle Bezděz. So i think that is imposible such alliance. --Stepan-hawk (talk) 11:46, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
@Afryingpanwithoutahandle:, first of all we can talk about it at the article's talk page, all you need to do is to ping me. Second of all it is not me who edited the information. If I would edit information in regards to historical matter, I rely on information that is available through the Encyclopedia of History of Ukraine (link) which is published through the National Academy of Sciences of UkraineInstitute of History. According to the encyclopedia, in the article about Mstislav II of Kiev it is mentioned that his mother was some unidentified German princess, the same goes for his father Izyaslav whose wife is mentioned also as supposedly some German princess. If it shows that it was indeed me, I do apologize for confusion. It looks like you might be right about the Leo's ancestry issue. I found that the Mstislav's mother might have been of the House of Hohenstaufen rather than Staufen, second, according to the article about Gertrude of Comburg, it looks that the website "Geni" is not precise about Agnes either where Agnes Liubava might have been a daughter of the first Gertrude of Comburg rather than second Gertrude of Sulzbach.
