Citations

[edit]

We need to put some work into getting this made into a proper article with citations and all. Is there anyone out there, who has any sort of knowledge on this subject who could help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.58.21.155 (talkcontribs) 19:27, 2013 May 3 (UTC)

Question entire article

[edit]

I don't see any source, including the cited 1st reference, that actually refers to "old school" tattoos as an actual thing/"school". Is this anything than the jargon of a specific subgroup? Honestly, this should probably be deleted entirely, or merged into tattoo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jbower47 (talkcontribs) 20:46, 2014 November 13 (UTC)

@Jbower47: Yeah the citations in here are pretty bad. There are, however, a number of books and sources that specifically use the term old-school and go into substantial detail about it:
So, I think we can probably keep this separate. I don't have a lot of time right now to work on this article, so if you wanted to get started, I can pick it up next week or so. — Preceding unsigned comment added by I JethroBT (talkcontribs) 06:09, 2014 November 14 (UTC)

Artists

[edit]

I think it might be helpful and could round out the article if specific artist contributions to the style were included, such as their influence on the style as a whole, how they popularized the style in some places, et cetera. Whosthatgirl155 (talk) 22:48, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
