"Regine" is Omitted From Lead, But Pronounciation Guide for "Regine" Remains?

[edit]

Because of Wikipedia's nickname/hypocorism policies, the name "Regine" has to be omitted from the lead/intro section no matter what, but the pronounciation guide for "Regine" (NOT "Regina") remains. This is one concern I have about this policy, and that concern got me thinking that nickname/hypocorism policy should just be abolished already. Jim856796 (talk) 18:36, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
