Biology
[edit]Shouldn't there be something added about the biology and ecology of the river? Like the type of plant life it has, pollution, zoology, et cetra? Iamanadam (talk) 19:23, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
The Westobou River was only called Westobou for less than 20 years. It was a stage of the Savannah, but there is alot of information that is tied to Westobou that isn't really about the science of the river. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.226.3.194 (talk) 17:25, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Historic Information
[edit]As a concerned Carolinian I think that it's important to preserve and perpetuate as much information as we have available to us about the indigenous people of our state/region. Although the river may have only been known as the Westabo for 20 years in the English language, it certainly does not trivialize the fact that the Westo tribe existed and inhabited the area. The native populations in our region, being on the east coast, suffered decimation, and assimilation very early during European colinization and very little cultural information remains. The merging of these two pages would be helpful to redirect anyone seeking that kind of information. We shouldn't have seperate articles for synonyms. Quasihuman | Talk 17:03, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
