Editing Soumya Murder Case:

[edit]

Hi. I noticed you've been undoing my edits on the wiki page of Soumya murder case. Please explain yourself. I've modified the article to accurately reflect the nuances of the case & provided right references to each one of the edits. Please stop vandalizing the page.

Hi Alxndrdegrt, please explain 1. What is "Akasha Paravakal"? 2. Please provide evidence for the name "Charley Thomas"? (MOS:IDENTITY). Note self identification is not a valid source. 3. You restores "Govindachamy" in several places which is found to be a misspelling. 4. Calling some one "A high-profile criminal lawyer" (BA Aloor) is promotional; he is just a layer. 5. Provide evidence for "Biju Anthony". Jee 13:44, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

User:Jkadavoor For your questions 1, 2, 3 see Deccan herald report dated 2011. You don't get to decide what is valid source & what isn't. If he has identified himself as Charley, then that should reflect in the wiki page. I'm simply making sure the page reflects what has been reported in the media all these years. Regarding question number 4, I've simply quoted the news reports here again. Regarding question number 5., Biju Anthony Aloor is his full name, shortened to B A Aloor. Multiple outlets have attested to this fact. If Govindachamy is misspelling, I regret the error. I will change it to Govindaswamy. Please don't let you own religion come in the way of accuracy/honesty. - Alxndrdegrt —Preceding undated comment added 14:08, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mover to here from my talk. Jee 16:14, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Alxndrdegrt, I'm neglecting the last sentence in your comment as it is against AGF and an attempt to violate WP:PRIVACY.
For your argument on 1,2,3: Yes; I'm aware of the report on Deccan Chronicle. But it only says "reportedly" which means "according to what some say (used to express the speaker's belief that the information given is not necessarily true)". You can find more accusation here which came from a self declared religious journal (which is also from 2011). That's why I reverted your edit with an edit note WP:BLPGOSSIP (not reliable sources) and WP:GRAPEVINE (poorly sourced).
The accusation is against FBA, a charitable organisation handling the poor and neglected. So such statements needs strong evidence; not rumors ("reportedly").
This is a video report inquiring the facts behind the story "Charley Thomas, Akasha Paravakal and Advocate B A Aloor". It is recent (2016, September 17) and by Asianet News; a reliable source. Even the victim's mother is talking in this video and dismisses any accusation against FBA.
I had seen you peculate on my interest in this case. I'm from Kerala; where this incident happened. I don't like religious nonsense added to a notable crime which has no relations to any religions.
I will revert your edit again unless you provide supporting evidence from reliable sources. Jee 03:22, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Note that we have no evidence about the financial source to the accused so far. They are only speculations. Jee 03:29, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I retrieved the judgement by the High Court of Kerala too. So I'm going to edit the article based on the more reliable sources; both judgments. Jee 07:39, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
