Comment
[edit]Quite unsure about this. What I want is the history from this Steve Fox page to be merged into Steve Fox (Tekken) and the Steve Fox page to be recreated as a disambag, just as it is now. Darn anonymous users doing cut and paste merges. - Hbdragon88 22:57, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Banned Moved
[edit]It seems according to the EVO rule book: "Steve Fox's Hold Left Kick, Left Punch, Left Punch has been banned from tournament play. Any player that preforms that move will forfeit the round." Source: http://evo2k.com/playerGuide/gamerules.php
His Memory
[edit]The way the article is worded now, with phrases like "and has no memory of his past" and "neither (Nina nor Steve) posess memory of their past," it makes it seem as if Steve, like Nina, has amnesia, which he does not. He was adopted in infancy and he had no knowledge of where he came from because he was too young to remember. This needs to be clarified in the article, especially the comparison to Nina, because she lost all memories of her life prior to the cryogenic sleep, but Steve never lost his memory. - Chandra K. 18:04, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yes I agree with you, now the article states the wrong information. Aeneiden-Rex 08:15, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Steve's Moves
[edit]Steve moves are based on an anime called "Hajime no Ippo", example tha Gazelle Punch (f+3,1) is copied from Ippo Makounochi, and the White Fang/Sonic Fang (d/f+1+2) is copied from Vorg Zangief, the Dempsy Roll/Endless Roll (3,4+f,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1...) is from Ippo also, the Flicker stance (1+2)(b+1+2)(b~) is from Ryo Mashiba, and many more.. -Nick(nicky_5th@yahoo.com)
Steve has a new stance in TEKKEN 6 called the "Peek a Boo" as usual copied from Ippo Makounochi.. -Nick
- Or maybe it's a coincidence, since lots of boxers use the same techniques. King Zeal 12:13, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
While we couldn't claim that they were based off the anime, we could state in the article that majority of his moves are similar to the techniques featured in 'Hajime no Ippo'. Gr8moldy (talk) 01:41, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Stevet5dr.jpg
[edit]Image:Stevet5dr.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
