This article has been checked against the following criteria for B-class status:
Please note that Template:Infobox military conflict#Parameters states against "result" that "this parameter may use one of two standard terms: "X victory" or "Inconclusive"." The infobox has been amended to reflect this. Please read the template "result" guidance in full before amending or reverting. It would probably be best to discuss any proposed change here first to seek consensus. Thanks. Gog the Mild (talk) 22:13, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The lead contradicts the body of the article with the line "...the massacre of 1,500 to 3,000 people." The body has an Estimations of the numbers of victims section that does not support the lower number. We need to either add well-sourced material to the body that specifies an estimate of 1,000, or we need to change the lower number in the lead to 2,000. After nearly a month with no objections, I am making the change now. Please discuss here before reverting.
This page clearly refers to the entire nearly half a year long event which was the siege of Tal Al zaatar and clearly states that the massacre was towards the end. Either make a section for the massacre or a separate page for the massacre or rename the page “Siege of Tal Al Zaatar” Maropedia1 (talk) 19:43, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
