This article, while gratifyingly expanded, now needs LOT of cleanup. There's a lot of bad formatting; there is quite a bit of original research and use of unpublished or primary sources; and there's a bit of an NPOV problem. Full disclosure: I am a Protestant of Irish origin, but a strong nationalist (unionist in the American sense, never in the Irish; republican in the Irish sense, never the American).
