The Castle of Craignethan is often taken to be the "original" of that of Tillietudlem, (though the geography does not quite fit, nor need it, in a fiction; it might as well be Bothwell Castle). The nearby Popinjay Hotel relies upon this tradition for its name, but the village is Rosebank and not Tillietudlem. Any use of the name derives from the novel, and not the other way about. Shouldn't this be made plain in the article?Tony164 (talk) 19:47, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
