Astra SpaceAstra, Inc. – This company is called "Astra" or "Astra, Inc.", not "Astra Space". Rename to "Astra, Inc." à la Tesla, Inc. --Soumyabrata (talksubpages) 11:30, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Soumyabrata, thinks he's God and don't want us to tell the truth about this article. Thank you mfb. 2001:18C0:61C:700:849C:3108:509A:1CC (talk) 09:02, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Soumyabrata says my quote is not available. Which is entirely false. Anyone can access it. Besides, mfb had access to it. 2001:18C0:61C:700:849C:3108:509A:1CC (talk) 09:06, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Calm down. Sometimes websites don't load for whatever reason, or they are down temporarily. That can happen. Don't assume malice when bad luck is a perfectly plausible explanation. Besides: It's not a critical issue if it was September or October. --mfb (talk) 09:59, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Astra themselves says October [1]. OkayKenji (talk page) 15:49, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"scrubbed the DARPA launch challenge"?

[edit]

@Soumya-8974: I interpret the article as just another day of delay. The title is confusing but the article makes it clear that they are still part of the challenge. --mfb (talk) 10:00, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Haven't been following this a lot but this article says they may not be part of the challenge (DARPA?) anymore. OkayKenji (talk page) 15:51, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
SUCCESS, not FAILURES: The launch will be the third for Astra, coming after two launches in July and November 2018. Both launched from the PSCA in Alaska. These were originally believed to be failures. However, Astra stated that the first was successful, and the second was only "shorter than planned". Neither were designed to reach orbit, as they didn’t have functioning second stages.[1] Cordialement. 2001:18C0:61C:700:3DC6:63EE:9943:BFBE (talk) 06:00, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, so they still launch, just missed the launch challenge parameters. I updated the article. (@IP: This is about the third launch only) --mfb (talk) 07:01, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

B-Class suggestions

[edit]

Hello, I am the "reviewer" of the article. Here's the list of the problems that I saw:

  • Some of the sources have their formatting broken. The sources are reliable for now. (ex. September 2020, Mike Wall 12)
  • Lone sentences should be merged to a paragraph, with linking devices (because, as, but, etc.)
  • There are some inappropriate use of dashes and capital letters, see Wikipedia:Simplified Manual of Style for more details
  • A few in-line tags should be resolved , example being [citation needed]

Other than that, the article should be a B-Class, change the grade when you feel that the article deserved that. Hopefully, you can push this article to a Good Article, in that case, I see you there! CactiStaccingCrane (talk) 10:45, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting Astra Rocket

[edit]

Seeing as the Rocket series (i.e. Rocket 1 through 3.3) have some pretty substantial history now, and with space launch increasingly in the rear-view mirror for the company, I believe it would make sense to split them off into a separate page, where they might get a nicer treatment (i.e. infobox at the top of the page). I will be starting a draft. Sub31k (talk) 21:30, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Can you share the Draft? (EDIT: I found the article) Redacted II (talk) 17:49, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
