Errors

[edit]

Nihonjoe: This template produces error messages and has lint errors, and "What links here" shows only two pages, both of which seem to get this page indirectly some how. If this is supposed to be useful, can it be fixed to work, and otherwise, can we delete it? —Anomalocaris (talk) 00:44, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Anomalocaris: It seems to be working just fine when populated correctly. See Hachijō-jima#Population and Hachijō, Tokyo#Population. ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 17:39, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Nihonjoe: Template:Population/Japan/Prefectures/Fluctuation 2015 produces one missing end tag for <div> for each call to {{Population/Japan/Prefectures/Fluctuation/item}}, and the template page displays error messages for each call. —Anomalocaris (talk) 17:57, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Anomalocaris: Go look at the code for {{Population/Japan/Prefectures/Fluctuation/item}}. There's only one div opened, and it's also closed. You can see it here:
    |-
	|style="padding: 0px 4px;"|{{{1}}}
	|style="text-align: right; padding: 0px 4px;"|{{formatnum:{{{2}}}}}
	|style="text-align: left; padding: 0px;"|<div style="width:{{#expr:(384*{{{2|1}}}/{{{3|1}}}) round 0}}px; height: 8px; background-color: orange;"></div>
The error is coming from somewhere else, not the templates you have mentioned. ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 00:24, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
