Greg Lindquist (b. 1979) is an American artist, living and working in New York City. He was born in Wilmington, North Carolina, studied art and English at North Carolina State University and attended graduate school in New York at Pratt Institute, earning a MFA in painting and masters in art history. During graduate school, Lindquist was a research intern at the Museum of Modern Art. He also worked as an assistant for the artist Ryan McGinness. Lindquist's work primarily addresses landscape as a memorial, presently documenting parts of former industrial Brooklyn as they are developed into luxury condos in Williamsburg and Red Hook.
