Eng. Steve Biko Omondi
[edit]Steve Biko Omondi (born September 21, 1990) is a Kenyan engineer and author known for his contributions to software engineering. He is associated with Braysons Engineering Cons Ltd and Braysons Group Ltd. Omondi has been an active member of various academic and professional organizations, including the Students Organization of Nairobi University (SoNU) and Students Union of The Kenya Polytechnic University College. He has a rich educational background, having attended the University of Nairobi[1], Technical University of Kenya[2], and Kenya Methodist University[3]. Omondi is also the author of The Principles of Software Engineering.
Early Life and Education
[edit]Steve Biko Omondi was born on September 21, 1990. He attended Sony Sugar Primary School for his primary education. Omondi later joined St. Joseph's School, Rapogi Boys[4], where he excelled in his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams, achieving an A- in 2009.
Higher Education
[edit]Omondi pursued higher education at multiple institutions, where he specialized in various aspects of engineering:
- University of Nairobi: he studied Bachelors of Science in Microprocessor Technology and Instrumentations. (2011-2016). He was an active member of the Students Organization of Nairobi University (SoNU) where he served at the position of Secretary General (2013-2014.
- Technical University of Kenya: Omondi concurrently pursued bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the then Kenya Polytechnic University College(2010-2016), Now The Technical University of Kenya, where he also served as a student leader in the position of Deputy Speaker (SRC).
- Kenya Methodist University: He continued to expand his knowledge and expertise in engineering and related fields.
