Dry the River are an English folk rock band formed in London, originally a solo project by Norwegian-born singer, guitarist and songwriter Pete Liddle. He decided to expand the band to include John Warren (drums) and William Taylor (violin) to provide backing to a concert in London in the summer of 2009.
After years of self-released recorded in Liddle's home in Stratford, the group were signed by Transgressive in late 2010.[1]
The band's debut album, Shallow Bed, is being recorded with Peter Katis, who had previously worked with Interpol and The National, in a home studio in Connecticut.
