[edit]Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game( is also known as the Yu-Gi-OH! Official Car Game, simplified Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG) is a collectible card game, based on the Japanese manga series Yu-Gi-Oh! written by Kazuki Takahashi. Based on the card game, manga, mega, this card game creates its own culture.
History

[edit]Yu-Gi-Oh! at first is the Japanese manga series written by Kazuki Takahashi, in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine between September 30, 1996 and March 8, 2004. Because of its popularity. Later two anime adaptations were produced between April 4, 1998 to October 10, 1998, and 2000 to 2004. After that, this anime series does not stop. 5 more anime come after that.
the creation of the real card games
[edit]In 1999, because of the popularity of Yu-Gi-Oh!, designed by Konami, based on the rules and characters in the manga, Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game is created facing the great population of fans.[1]

[edit]Meanwhile, Yu-Gi-Oh! follows the favorite of Japanese players and it launch a lot of games on different play platforms such as: Game Boy, NDS, PSP, PlayStation, and later like PC and phones. From 1998 to 2019, almost 57 different versions are released. [2]

[edit]Yu-Gi-Oh has the biggest card pool in the world. For OCG, it has about 10946 cards. But it only arrives its third version based on their anime version (which has six anime series), so in future, it would still grow, the card pool would become bigger and bigger.
Official Competition and Fairness
[edit]Yu-Gi-Oh! is very popular all over the world, not only in Japan. Based on the great population of fans, It has tournament every year. Thanks to the big card pool, there are a lot of interesting combo you can see in the competition, however, it also influence the balance in the game. To deal with the unfairness, every four months, the office would ban some cards or released some banned cards to help the balance for the competition.

[edit]Yu-Gi-Oh! is a very successful card game. The popularity of this games rise up the value of each real card. The collection of cards is also popular in the fans. There is a card called Japanese Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon which cost 450 000$ USD for one card. Meanwhile Yu-Gi-Oh! is the most popular card game in the world. It's one of the highest-grossing media franchises.[3]
