Boys With X Ray Eyes are a Five piece Metal band from Newport, South Wales formed in 2006. Touring the UK extensively throughout 2008 has earned them recognition and they are becoming more and more noticed as a true 'Metal' band. The band have recently put together an EP which consists of remixes and fresh tracks that will be launched at one of their forthcoming gigs.
Biogprahy
[edit]Boys With X Ray Eyes or BWXE were formed in 2006 by five close friends who realised that they all had the same passion for writing and playing music. After laying beats after beats down, BWXE were born and were soon on their way to become South Wales' Newest most hardcore Metal band on the scene in a long time. Playing a few locals shows at the likes of TJ's and The Doll's House, the tearing riffs, hard hitting drums and intense vocals grabbed peoples attention immediatly, leading them to a review in NP life and being featured in Metal Hammers upcoming section. Most of 2007 was spent in the studio, with twelve songs under their belt, recording an album came sooner than expected. After all 5 members spent the week recording in the bassment of a pub also know as the hot box studio in Abertillery, South Wales, Kris and Dario flew over to Seattle, Washington to finish editing the album. After the album was finished they finally reverted back to the Welsh scene in late 2007. BWXE kicked back off with their album launch show selling out the Cardiff Barfly. In early Novemeber, Norman (bass) parted with the band so they decided to find a new bassist. After searching for a bassist, they found their friend Lewis, and asked him to become the full time bass player for BWXE.

- Lead Guitarist Kristian Richards has a profound fondness for Tattooes
