[edit]Hello, I'm Jack Frost. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Reptile (Mortal Kombat), but you didn't provide a source. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ermac. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. sixtynine • whaddya want? • 06:05, 4 March 2021 (UTC)

Editing filmography tables
[edit]@84.252.28.57: I've noticed your edits on the Arnold Schwarzenegger filmography. Arnold stars in both Pumping Iron and The Comeback. Even though both films are documentaries, Arnold is considered a cast member in each. Therefore, he should be shown as an actor within the table. Please make those changes in the table so those cells show correctly again. Thank you! CYAce01 (talk) 12:42, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
Superman II
[edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hello, I'm User3749. I noticed that in this edit to Noob Saibot, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. User3749 (talk) 12:00, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to The Suicide Squad (film), did not appear constructive and has been reverted. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Suicide Squad (film). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. —El Millo (talk) 16:52, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Dolph Lundgren does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Headers
[edit]Please stop adding pointless headers that just clutter the article. Not every article needs 10 different headers. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:19, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- As NinjaRobotPirate this user does not understand WP:OVERSECTION and keeps adding excessive subsection headings when there is not enough content to justify it. Also this user does not listen but not all their edits are entirely bad and it is too much hassle for most people to get them blocked for it.
- Not yet anyway. -- 109.76.135.9 (talk) 21:39, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- Despite the 1 week block this user does not seem to have gained any better understanding of WP: OVERSECTION and continues to prolifically add unnecessary subsection headings. -- 109.79.72.156 (talk) 07:57, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- If this user had not already repeatedly been told about WP:OVERSECTION it might seem like a good faith edit to create two subsections for two very short lines of Production information in the article for the film Short Cuts like he did with this edit[1] but it is pattern of persistent misguided behavior (and therefore disruptive, despite what his intentions may be) and at this point this anon editor is clearly WP:NOTLISTENING. -- 109.79.73.171 (talk) 03:55, 24 August 2021 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Demolition Man (film). Stop. As discussed at length on the talk page this change never made any sense.[2] Sneaking the change through without any explanation is disrutpive, and repeating the same edit over and over is disruptive. Also you continue to show you have not understood WP:OVERSECTION. -- 109.77.210.114 (talk) 21:31, 27 August 2021 (UTC)

[edit]I've removed the unnecessary "Prequel film" designators you've added to the Predator (franchise) page. The reason I added that to Alien (franchise) back in 2014/2015 is because the studio themselves clarified that they're categorized in such a way and it assists with organization. As there is no indication whatsoever that Skulls is the start of a new series, there is no necessity for adding it. If you add it back, it will unfortunately be considered edit warring, which is prohibited on Wikipedia. However, your other contributions were generally helpful, thus I expanded upon them.
