Sonia Manzano and Jason Gray-Stanford

The date of birth IS correct. I read it on Google and a biography for both of them. Please put the REAL date of birth back. ShowMeTheMoney2007 (talk) 05:30, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

Please review the WP:DOB policy, e.g. Wikipedia includes full names and dates of birth that have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object to the details being made public. Reading it on Google is unfortunately not enough per Wikipedia policy. Beccaynr (talk) 05:34, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

Wikipedia is TOO strict! Could you make reliable source for date of birth for Sonia Manzano, Jason Gray-Stanford and Tamron Hall, please? PS: I am not good at doing reliable sources. ShowMeTheMoney2007 (talk) 05:36, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

I have worked on the Sonia Manzano article, but haven't yet found reliable sources for her birth date. It can be challenging to find an exact date of birth, because people often do keep it private, and we sometimes only use a year of birth on Wikipedia, inferred from a reliable source that mentions their age. I have added a welcome message to your Talk page with a list of helpful links, and I encourage you to visit the Wikipedia Teahouse, which can offer answers to many questions. Could you give me a example of reliable sources? And what about Tamron Hall and Jason Gray-Stanford?

ShowMeTheMoney2007 (talk) 17:41, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi ShowMeTheMoney2007, you can review the reliable sources introduction here, and reliable sources are also discussed generally in the reliable sources guideline. More specific examples are collected in the perennial sources explanatory supplement. I looked for reliable sources for Tamron Hall, and found a source with information to add to the article, but did not find reliable sources per the WP:DOB policy for her exact birth date. For Jason Gray-Stanford, there also do not appear to be reliable sources per policy to include his date of birth. Beccaynr (talk) 18:22, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
