[edit]The last weekend in October 2016 is when the clocks go back in Europe. Traditionally airlines have two schedules for the year - one for the winter and one for the summer, determined by the weekends when the clocks change. Many airlines in Europe will wait until June (or even July) 2016 before publishing a full schedule for dates in November 2016. An airline making a formal announcement that a route will be terminated is certainly a good source. Otherwise, one cannot infer that a route will end in October 2016 until about July 2016 purely due to the absence of seats being on sale.
