1979 Jeep CJ-5
Good evening,
I see you have several photos of my Jeep from the Hershey, PA fall meet. Would you please send me the photos you took of my vehicle? I am flattered to see it on here :) Truly very proud of that little Jeep. I look forward to chatting with you.

- Stephanie, Thanks for bringing your Jeep to the big AACA Hershey meet! All of the pictures that are posted there can be downloaded directly from Commons. That will get you the same image file (in jpg format) as I had uploaded. There is no difference on the shots of your Jeep with the originals from my iPhone. I go ahead and edit some pictures to crop and/or straighten them. On a few, I also go ahead and blur the license plates. Please click on the "download" icon (just above the top of the picture) to have the highest resolution file saved on your computer to enjoy! Please let me know if you have any questions; and of course, I will be glad to chat with you! I trust that you will exhibit your special Silver Anniversary Jeep at many shows. I am looking forward to seeing it again, and thus be able to take a "beauty shot" of it next time with the hood closed. I think cars look better that way! Keep on "trucking" to enjoy your Jeep! Used your 1960 Green and White Rambler picture
Hi, Just wanted to let you know we had a '60 Rambler back in the day. Wrote a story about it on my blog & video. I used some text on top of the photo...the story will clarify why. You can view the video here

- Thank you for using the picture! Your story is definitely encouraging! The green and white Rambler for your trip played a central role! The head on view is instantly recognizable and sure remains very special for you. I also hope you get many people to visit so that they will see and hear your uplifting presentation! - John! Good to have your comments! Your 1978 AMC AMX is an outstanding car, and you are definitely taking terrific care and receiving a huge amount of pride with it! Thanks for bringing it to the 2015 American Owners Association national meet. Looking forward to seeing at many more shows! It is a standout not only for AMC enthusiasts, but it also needs to be exhibited and more widely recognized at the large mixed-make events, such as the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) show circuit. Keep on AMCing! CZmarlin (talk) 19:42, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
Enfield neorion
Hi there, hope your well. why did you delete my update on my neorion? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Edward charles day (talk • contribs) 15:10, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- Welcome to Wikipedia, and please review the suggestions for new contributors here: WP:WELCOME. A foundation of all Wikipedia article guidelines is a requirement of using appropriate and reliable third-party sources and references. This is even more important for specific claims that are made in the article. Therefore, your contribution to the Neorion Chicago was deleted because it does not meet that criterion. It also makes a statement about future events regarding the exhibition of an vehicle. In general, predictions about things in future is not permitted in Wikipedia articles. Once the event takes place, and has a credible reference, then it can be added. Moreover, your wholesale revert of my corrections and other edits to the article is not appropriate behavior for WP editors. No editor "owns" an article, and everyone can make changes that follow WP guidelines. Please be aware that abuse of the revert action action may lead to loss of editing privileges. On the other hand, if you have an issue with the specific content, or another editor's improvements to an article, then you should first take that problem for discussion to the article's talk page. Any contention about the article should take place directly on the talk page of that particular subject. I hope this helps in further contributions to WP articles. History of the Poles in the United States
Given your high fluency in Polish, I am reaching out to you in regards to the History of the Poles in the United States article. It has no Polish equivalent, and any time you can spend towards translating in any capacity would be much-appreciated. I would be more than happy to help any way that I can.
Thank you! Pola.mola (talk) 19:59, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
- I appreciate your suggestion to translate this article. It is a major article. My contributions to WP are rather limited due to time constraints. I am not sure I can commit myself to accomplish this task right now. I hope you can secure someone who will work to translate this article. It would be great to have this history in the Polish language WP! CZmarlin (talk) 23:18, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

Re Kammback article, unreferenced issue with Saab hatchbacks
Hi I'd noticed that you had a removed Saab 99/900 and 9-3 hatchbacks as being a mass-produced car featuring a "kamm-like" tail design. Needless to say I'm new to adding anything to a Wikipedia article--- how do I correctly reference this addition to the list? Would you agree that the Saab 99 and 900 'combi coupe' models and the evolution of this design, the second-generation Saab 900 (later renamed 9-3) feature a 'kamm-like' tail? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.168.161.141 (talk) 03:29, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
- It is not enough to include these models on the list because you think they have a Kammback design. Please provide credible reference(s) that state these models actually incorporate a Kammback or a "kamm-like" rear end design. Please note the WP:WHYCITE guidelines: "By citing sources for Wikipedia content, you enable users to verify that the information given is supported by reliable sources, thus improving the credibility of Wikipedia while showing that the content is not original research." Thank you - CZmarlin (talk) 23:09, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
Re Kammback article, revision to mass-produced examples
Hi again--- I've noticed that the Toyota Prius does not have a textual reference specifically stating that it has a Kammback tail, but there is a picture of the car's Kammback tail; would this same 'visual reference' be sufficient for inclusion of the Saab models? VinVin6 (talk) 19:30, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for asking about the lack of references in the hybrid cars section of the Kammback article. However, there are reliable sources that describe the use of the Kammback design for these models. Therefore, I have added these citations to the models mentioned.
- Unfortunately, there are no reliable sources that describe the application of Kammback design on Saab cars, other than the sports-type Sonnet model. Even that mention is tenuous at best, but I have included it to support that model's inclusion on the list.
- Please note that there are countless cars that have a tall trunk design (like the regular Saab sedans), but such a design feature does not make all of them a "Kammback."
- In any case, thanks for reminding about missing references in the hybrid car section. Moreover, I will try to add references to the other models listed in the article that have no footnotes ... whenever I have some "free" time! Thanks - CZmarlin (talk) 23:29, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
Automotive Hall of Fame
Part of your Automotive Hall of Fame edit seemed odd. I deleted that, and moved the reference. Thanks. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 14:44, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks! I did not notice when I was typing that the page numbers for the reference somehow ended up in the section title! Must keep checking and also to double preview my contributions before clicking on the "save page" button! CZmarlin (talk) 14:56, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
- FWIW, the references were named the way they were just to identify that it was a reference to the specific page of the honoree at the Automotive Hall of Fame. I have been trying to add to each recipient a reference to some other source. And then putting both references into the main articles on the recipient, if it exists. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:19, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
- Ok, that may help. Nevertheless, I do not name references when they are not going to be used anywhere else in an article. This is because they tend to create problems if there are ever major edits in the future. Furthermore, I noticed you have included Wikilinks within the references to publications, newspapers, journals, etc. I think there is no real need for them. They are essentially "overlooking". WP guidelines state, "Generally, a link should appear only once in an article", but also, names of common publications such as the The New York Times, Motor Trend, etc. are not "likely to aid the reader's understanding significantly." Moreover, adding them within citations to lesser known works increases the number of red links that are dead ends. Thanks for your work on the Automotive Hall of Fame article! CZmarlin (talk) 16:11, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
- The problem with that is that we have a chorus of editors (see the talk page, see the multiple reversions in connected articles — e.g. Béla Barényi by User: Mean as custard) who bleat "notability not established" or "not notable". This is the undertow we are working in. That
wethey are having this kind of discussion about the Automotive Hall of Fame shows that we are not on the same planet. They may not know what Motor Trend is. And I haven't (much) added red links. These are blues. I also went through and disambiguated a bunch of links. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 16:28, 10 March 2016 (UTC)

- Interesting! I was not aware of some of the conflicts such as the notability of this article and some of the individuals that have been inducted. Moreover, WP has a list of halls and walks of fame and some of them are, in my opinion, are not as significant when compared to the automotive industry .... such as Burlesque Hall of Fame and the list of inductees in the International Space Hall of Fame which is presumably in outer space, and not on any planet! not an authoritative EL - The External links you keep in place look authoritative to you?
I suggest you review the external links for Chevrolet Corvette since you are so keen in "cleaning up" other editors' wiki pages. The external links there include unknown blog pages such as http://corvettestory.com/index.php and this one http://lucypages.com/corvette-0-60-time/
Best of all you removed a good link from a quality publication for Cruzan and you have three links in the External Links section, two of which are the company's official website and the other is also an unknown blog page of little notability. Both the Corvette and Cruzan Rum pages have links of little notability.
But DMOZ used to be notable when GeoCities were around some 15 years ago and that's the only notable link you are using for Muscle Cars? You're a real asset to the pages you are keeping. Since this is your page I will post this remark on my talk page cause you cant delete it and other editors should consider this situation, and not just your pal who you will yelp to and ask them to review the comments and then summarily delete it? Now why would a Wikipedia editor delete my comments on my talk page unless you are NOT doing your work and are in haste to hide the remark? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.100.86.227 (talk) 09:21, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
